Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use MationX Studio, we collect certain information to provide and improve our services:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, username, and authentication tokens (e.g., Google/GitHub IDs).
  • Device Information: Data from connected Android devices, including device names, models, manufacturers, IP addresses, and secure hardware identifiers (TEE signatures).
  • Automation Data: Automation configurations, UI hierarchy snapshots, and XML selector structures required to synchronize the web builder with your mobile client.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to operate MationX Studio. Specifically:

  • To securely link your Android client with the Web Studio dashboard.
  • To store and transmit the automation workflows you build.
  • To handle billing and affiliate referral tracking.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with essential third-party service providers, including:

  • Stripe: For processing subscription payments.
  • OAuth Providers: Google and GitHub for secure authentication.
  • Cloud Providers: For secure database and hosting infrastructure.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including bcrypt password hashing, encrypted TLS communication between the client and server, and strict token-based authentication to protect your automations and connected devices.

5. Android Accessibility Service API Usage

Our application, MationX Client, utilizes the Android Accessibility Service API to automate user-defined tasks and interactions on the device screen. This service allows the app to read window content and perform simulated gestures (such as clicks and swipes) strictly based on automation scenarios created by the user within the MationX Studio.

Snapshot Feature: The application includes a "Snapshot" capability that allows you to manually capture the structural data (UI hierarchy) of your current screen. When explicitly triggered by you, this structural data is transmitted to and stored on MationX Studio servers exclusively for the purpose of helping you visually build and map your automation scripts. Snapshots are never captured automatically in the background without your explicit command.

We do not use the Accessibility Service API to monitor your general device activities, nor do we collect or transmit sensitive personal data (such as passwords or credit card numbers) outside of the explicit user-triggered Snapshot process. The service remains dormant and is active only when executing your authorized automation scripts or when you manually trigger a Snapshot.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data. You may delete your account and all associated data directly from the MationX Studio settings panel at any time. This action will permanently remove all related automations, devices, and snapshots from our servers via cascading deletion.
